Where is the WordPress registrar and how can you change name servers in it?

    A lot of what I need to do to get my new domain name up and running involves me interacting with this wordpress “registrar”. I don’t know what that is or how to access it. Anyone have some insight into this?

    Why is it, that the option to change nameservers doesn’t show up for me? Is there a reason for this?

    I’ve heard the reason is that I’m not registered at the registrar, but I’m just trying to map my current domain to wordrpess. All I want to do is drop the “.wordpress” part of my url. I paid premium, and I thought it would be a relatively simple process, but it’s turning out to be incredibly complicated. I have no experience with hosting a website and I’m not as savvy with the terms as I need to be. Anybody know what I should do from here?
