Where is tools/import?

  Greetings,
  I would like to import my tumblr to wordpress but I can’t find tools on my dash. Where is it? I’m new here.
  Looking forward to get a reply. Thank you!

  My Site –> WP Admin (bottom of sidebar, under Configure) –> Tools (under Users, above Settings)

  The screenshot you provided is the new dashboard, the tools can be found on old/classic dashboard.

  To access classic dashboard, go to “my site” > WP Admin.
  *alternatively, you can click here

  Then on the left sidebar, navigate to “Tools” > “Import” and follow the instructions from https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-tumblr/

  Thank you so much to the both of you for helping me!
  I could import all my tumblr posts. They look fantastic on wordpress.
  A last thing, I would like to know whether it is possible to delete my tumblr account and keep the posts here. Would it affect the content in some way?

  Glad to hear that!

  My advice is to disable or set your tumblr to private so that nobody could no longer access them. You never know when you’re gonna need it again.

  The contents from wordpress and tumblr are now separated and they’re not connected anymore.
