where is wp_list_pages so that i can exclude some pages

  Dear All!
  can any one help me out with this below question
  where is wp_list_pages so that i can exclude some pages from displaying to my home or index pages?
  I’d created some child pages which i don want to display @ my home or index page, whenever some one click on the link that page should be display.
  so please help me out where to find wp_list_pages so that i exclude some pages

  Go to Manage > Pages, click on the names of the pages you want to exclude, get their ID numbers (last part of their URL), go to Design > Widgets, click Edit Page widget, put the mumbers there, click Save Changes.
