Where on earth are the free website themes?

    I am new to wordpress and I am already incredibly frustrated. I looked at the help page but I could not find anything about it.

    I am looking for the free website themes. The only ones that I can find are themes for blogs. I keep reading that there are free website themes available but I cannot find a way to get to them.

    Is there a separate list for websites hidden somewhere that I missed?
    or
    Are the themes for blogs also the themes for websites?

    Yes

    Many of the Themes are designed specifically for photographers with a pile of special features for photographers

    Thank you very much auxclass.

    I have been trying several styles but so far I haven’t found those special features for photographers that you are talking about, maybe they are not included in the free templates. I am struggling to create the first post. I understand that the themes are free but I am used to blogger which I think it’s more user friendly, intuitive and flexible.

    Despite of being on the verge of giving up I will keep trying to see if I can put something together in the next couple of days.

    Please feel free to bring up the filter by clicking on the Find a Theme button and use various filtering options to narrow down on your themes.

    For eg: Photography and Photoblogging themes can be filtered by clicking on the Subjects filter.

    Thanks chaitanyamsv ! I did find them and I have been experimenting with three themes that seem to suit my needs better. The major problem now is that I cannot figured out how to make my blog look like the chosen theme. I am having a hard time being able to navigate between what looks like a collection of fractured bits and pieces smoothly: the page with my chosen template, the page where I can change the overall settings of the blog and a third page where I can actually write the posts etc.

    Che casino!

    Anyway this is another topic. I am going to read/watch all the tutorials available and hopefully I will be able to make some sense out this WordPress chaos.
