  I turned off the snow for now until I can get that “prevent snow” link for people who are not WordPress members. A lot of people come to my blog via Google and are not regular readers. As much as I love the snow, I want to offer visitors a choice

  You can go to your personal settings page and hide the snow everywhere you go.
