Where shall incoming trackback show up?

    Have to ask though I never had seen this before on other blogs.

    I´m use to, when sending a trackback to someone it shows up with a Title link, usally below the blogpost or the title. So you easy can see who has sent a trackback.

    Now I noticed. I have got two trackback and both just mixed up with the comments. The only thing you can see it´s a TB is the word under, Pingback instead of comment.
    It also stands as a number of comments.

    As I have learned it´s diffrent between, trackback and comments.

    We also use the word ping, when we ping searchengines, like Technorati.
    Trackback we use when we write in the same topic as someone else. And permalink to someone in the text.

    So now I wondering, is it diffrent meaning and act of those word here?

    Another question is, do trackback acts diffrent in diffrent themes?

    Some themes will list trackbacks seperately. I don’t recall any of the theme here at wp.com do that though.

    Ping is the actually communication method between blogs. Trackback is the record of the ping.
