Where to begin?

  I know this is a geeky question but here goes…..How do I begin setting up my weblog home page with a theme and some character? Be nice:) HELP me with baby steps please. Thanks Mollye

  try tinkering around with your blog. learning through trial and error and all that. =)

  reading http://faq.wordpress.com also helps some.

  And it’s always best to be specific and literal with your question titles. That way people who have the answers will be drawn to them.

  i would try the FAQ first.
  Then make a post that says your new. this helps readers know that this blog isnt that developed yet because its new, so your readers will give you a little slack. remove it after a couple of weeks.
  then, add categories and change the theme. My favorites are regulus (very custamizable), reloadable lite, and blix. make the theme reflect what your blog is about.
  Keep tinkering and editing it to make it how you want it.

  I’d start tinkering with small things first, like maybe changing the template, or adding a picture to the basic format you already have. I know that’s all I’ve done at this point.
