Where to begin? And losing my mind.
-
I am using theme 2014. I have constructed several menus directing them to appear only in the left side of page. Most of them do, but some of them duplicate in the top menu even though I have made no settings directing them to the top menu.
I cleared Firefox cache and there is no change. WP cache clear directions seem out of date for Firefox.
I then completely deleted and rebuilt the menu. I started with the first page on the menu and then checked it in preview and menus options display at the side, which is the page for the newly created menu and the top menus persist even though these menu selections have been completely deleted.
Other things make no sense whatsoever. There is no way apparently to include the Home post into the menu options because options only display pages. So I renamed my first page and called it Home in the menu. On preview the site came up unknown page, enter your first post. SO on launch the site is blank except for the message, When I click home, the first page displays. Why is there no way to include the first post as Home on the menu? Also, two menu options continue to display at the top the screen even though they are long gone. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am sorry, but I am long past all of these prepackaged pages and none of them address the issues I am encountering.
I’ll see if I can work this out before switching to Dreamweaver.
Later!

Oh wait, you’re the moron who has been in the wrong forum all along, aren’t you?

No, No I’m not. None of your packaged links addressed the problem I described.
Fool!
And no one at Word Press made any attempt to address the situation, but kept sending me prepackaged links which had nothing to do with the issue. So, I solved the problem eventually and what I had to do to get around the problem was so bizarre, that I am surprised that Word Press has not been arrested by the software police for fraudulently claiming that Word Press is a real software.
