Where to edit counted Post_Id?

  on my blog i have made a couple of pages, naming these with id (done in mysqladmin) 995-999, so that my post start from 1 (so i hoped), but when i make a post now it creates a ID starting from 10000, so 10001 is my first post, how or where can i find 10000 (or any other variable) so i can set it to 0 so that when i post something it starts from 1, and when i post something after that it continues counting normal again.
