Where to find FTP info for Filezilla?

  I am trying to use an FTP client (i.e. filezilla) but cant get the Host: , Username: , Password: , information correct to be able to gain remote access.

  Mainly the Host information.

  Please help

  You can’t use FTP on a WordPress.com blog.

  But if you changed your blog to a .com site would the ftp work then?

  Hi there. As raincoaster said, you cannot use FTP on a site hosted here on WordPress.com. FTP access is for sites hosted on a third party host using the free software available from WordPress.org.

  No. Purchasing a domain changes nothing except the URL.

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins or upload any theme or other software.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ FTP access, uploading themes and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.
