Where to find slideshow plug in same with wordpress.com?

  Hello!

  I have moved my blog http://www.hereisbeijing.com from wordpress.com to wordpress.org for some reason. I used $99/year plan on wordpress.com before. There was a installed slideshow software and font/format tool line when I wrote a new page or a new post on wordpress.com.

  But now I found wordpress.org does not have these function anymore. Could you please let me know the software’s name and where to download the same slideshow and font/format tools plug in? Many thanks.

  Sorry, but the slideshow plugin isn’t currently available for self hosted sites.
  We hope it’ll be available via Jetpack in the future.

  Regarding the font settings – those should be available on any WordPress blog. Make sure you’re using the Visual Editor, and if the 2nd line of buttons doesn’t show, try clicking on the “Kitchen Sink” button to reveal it (should be the last button on the first line).

  Font settings now works. Thanks for your kind direction.

  Eventually I hope the slideshow plugin will be available soon, for the time being some of my posts/pages which contains slideshow plugin from wordpress.com do not appear on wordpress.org, sigh.

  By the way, I also found the gallery plugin in wordpress.org is different from in wordpress.com, posts/pages seems do not appear appropriately. How should I solve this problem? Thanks.

  The gallery is not a plugin, but core functionality.
  Can you clarify what isn’t behaving the same way?

  For example, http://hereisshanghai.com/sights/the-great-wall/zhou-wanping-photography/ is a gallery webpage, when I copied the HTML of this page and pasted it to the wordpress.org’s, then it appears as: http://www.hereisbeijing.com/zhou-wanping-photography/. You can see there are no gallery appears. How come?

  Another example. Images on http://hereisshanghai.com/summer-palace/ do not show/appear on http://www.hereisbeijing.com/sights/parks/summer-palace/.

  It looks like you deleted the image files in question — for example:
  http://hereisbeijing.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/17-arch-bridge2.jpg?w=300

  We can only really support blogs hosted here at WordPress.com, so you might want to check out the WordPress.org forums to see what your options are for your self-hosted site:
