Where to find support to resolve issues
-
Just a bit frustrated with WordPress right now.
After I resolved what turned out to be fairly easy domain name issues, I’m stuck again.
1) I’m a Premium member, so though no phone access, I thought I had direct mail access to the staff to fix issues – but can’t find how to do that. I had a question yesterday (about the aforementioned domain name issues) and thought I was sending a question to staff, when after typing it, all I saw was a community forum option. (And… if anyone answered, I’ll be damned if I can find it.)
2) If I’m a Premium member, should there be a “Go Premium” button on my pages?
3) In my frustration, I clicked on a Theme (Goodz Magazine) change that I absolutely do not want. How do I eliminate that action?
Sorry for the trouble. Thanks for your assistance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every time you create a thread on post into one on this peer support forums there is a record. To find it you can click the “member” link under your username in any thread. Or you can click Welcome robinc33 on the top right hand corner of any support forum thread.
Know that getting accurate answers quickly is not hard at all, especially if you know how to do tag searches, and how to use the support docs search box .

If you have a paid upgrade, please use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ where you will receive a choice of having staff answer your question publicly or privately.
Also note, that you can email Staff at:
support@wordpress.com
or
help@wordpress.comI have answered questions here for nearly 10 years. I predate the support docs and all but one support Staff member being on Staff. Usually posting here will provide a quick answer in less time than emailing Staff does.

Forum tags search switching themes
Support docs http://support.wordpress.com
type in switch themes click search
https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=switch+themes
results Themes
switch themesThe only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
Note that every theme will have a detailed theme description page with set-up instructions and a live demo site page that you can consult. Here’s an example:

As the theme you selected is Goodz Magazine which is a Premium (paid theme) you can request a refund for it and select another theme, either free or premium. Note what the support doc says under Premium Themes.
When you purchase a premium theme, it is available for the lifetime of that blog. If you would like to use the same theme across multiple blogs, you’ll have to purchase the theme for each blog. …
If a Premium theme doesn’t work out we offer a full refund up to 30 days from your purchase. To cancel your purchase and obtain a refund, please use the Cancel button on the My Upgrades page.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

Okay, thanks for your time. Per your help, I did cancel the Goodz Magazine theme. So, of course, I expected my old theme to return after updating my site after the cancellation, but nothing. I guess it doesn’t work that way?? Thanks, again.
