Where to find URL shortlink generator?

    HI,

    In the past, I was able to get URL shortlink that I was able to post in Hootsuite so I could tweet my blog numerous times. The interface of WordPress has changed (I find it more confusing now) so I am unable to find the URL shortlink generator now.

    How am I able to get that URL shortlink now, if possible?

    Hi !

    The new interface is different from the other one, but you’ll find out it’s pretty nice after a while !

    The URL Shortlink Generator is found under the title, next to the Permalink. However, it will not show up until you have pressed ‘Save Draft’ or published your article, that may be why you thought it disappeared !

    Is there any way to do this without having to go into the post edit page, say a plugin, widget, etc? Anything in the WP.com realm that you can include it in the post itself? It’s extremely cumbersome, but I can’t seem to find anything on the web that would “fix” what otherwise seems it would be standard. Thanks!
