Where to get feedback
-
I’m new at this blogging thing. I see that I can get feedback before I actually publish my blog. Since I’ve already hit the “publish” button” where is the best place for a new blogger to go?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have heard that in the Ideas forum bloggers are giving feedback…but none of the experienced bloggers I know are participating, it’s just beginners critiquing other beginners’ blogs. If that’s what you’re looking for, post in the Ideas forum.

The best place for any new blogger to go is to the social networking sites that their target blog audience uses and connect with them there. Locating high quality similar sites is an important step to becoming a better blogger because it’s your target audience who will be the most likely to comment on your posts and subscribe to your blog. How to get their attention?
It’s simple. The golden rule of social networking is give, give, give to get. Blogs and blogging relationships are all about commenting. You set a goal and comment frequently and meaningfully on blogs with similar content. You promote the posts of your target audience via social networks, and if reciprocity prevails, they will comment on your posts and promote them just as you promoted theirs.

Very helpful. I know there is a lot of content out there and my writing is not the best; however, I really am motivated to make a difference in the care of the mentally ill of America….or at least try.
