where to look for blogs to follow

Please inform me where to look so that I can follow other blogs i.e. is there a SPECIFIC section i.e. a box where I am to type in the persons name?

Well I was looking for specific blogs like say a friend has a blog entitled THE WAY IS THERE.
Where would I go to type that in so I could subscribe?

Blog titles are not unique and many bloggers have the same ones. It’s URLs that are unique so contact your friend by email and ask for the URL.
The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
For Topics (Tags page) searches see http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/ This is the syntax http://en/wordpress.com/tags/canada
See here http://wordpress.com/#!/read/topics/For Google searches use this format and replace “keyword” with whatever word you wish:
keyword site:wordpress.com/Example search string
Queen Victoria site:wordpress.com
results > http://tinyurl.com/csaobsx -
