Where to paste code for banners etc

  I’m really new at this and have figured a lot out by myself. I want to paste code so a Blotanicals banner will show in sidebar. Where do I paste it?

  In a Text widget – provided the code is plain html.

  And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.
