Where to put CSS codes

  Hello,
  I am very new to blogging and understand that you can use different codes to customize appearance and widgets, etc. However, I am not sure where to put these codes. For example, I want to make the body of my blog transparent (100%) so the background image shows through. There are a lot of posts about how to do this except I don’t know where to put the codes.

  You put them into the CSS editor (Appearance > Custom Design > CSS), if you have the Custom Design upgrade. Do you have the upgrade?
