Where to send Staff Questions

At https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ I can send questions but they are always coming to the Forum, not to the Staff Questions section. Where is that section in the hierarchy of WP ?
I also tried Contact Support

which is very difficult to use. Most of the time it does not allow sending questions
You have to type in some words, and then maybe, if you are lucky, are given an option to send a question to staff.
Today I seem to be unlucky….
Another option is to write to support@wordpress.com and then wait and wait, and maybe if you are lucky, very lucky, you get some kind of response after a few weeks. Which of course is useless.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is my exact problem ? I expected this kind of reply.
I am getting used to the twisted brains of the “volunteers” and “moderators”
By the way, what is the requirement to qulify as “volunteer” or “moderator” ?
Do I have to make an oath of trust to the WP staff with the hand on the Bible ?How do you want me to pose the “problem” ?

As long as the support contact form is active, you go here, http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ , search for something, anything, scroll down, click “no” and then the contact form will appear. It will, depending on the choices you make when filling out the support contact form, give you the option of having it appear in public in the staff questions forum, or sending it directly to staff as a private communication.
On the occasions when a the support form is closed, you can email them at support@wordpress.com .

Hi – It’s the weekend (my only time to work on my new blog) the support is closed right now and am trying to change my appearance to the new Selecta theme. Am not figuring out the place to even start the change. Have read the one forum entry for changing themes, but not sure where to even begin the process. Have tried from the Selecta preview, have tried it from my own blog dashboard….am obviously lost…. Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated! :o)

To be a “volunteer” of WP.com requires spare time and knowledge about the WP.com platform…
To become a “volunteer moderator” requires at least a years worth of volunteering in the WP.com forums with numerous helpful replies while being polite regardless the of OP’s tone… The next step would be to contact staff for “volunteer moderation” privileges which then staff discuss and review the request with other staff members about the Moderation status and decide if the request is approved or not…
Edit: I also seen this thread was modlook’d with the request to move this thread over to the staff forum but I choose to leave the thread here in the question forum since this thread falls under the question forum description which is quoted below…

The best place to ask a question related to WordPress.comP.s. I left the modlook tag to try and draw staffs attention.
