Where's my Blog page in my menu?
-
How do I show my blog page in my menu. I see Home, About, Contact etc but no “Blog” although the page loads at first logon. I can switch to my Home or About pages ok but when I want to return to my blog page I have to click on “my site” which loads my blog page. I have no “Blog” in my menu. How can I get my blog page to register as my blog page in the menu?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
It looks like you site is setup for your Front Page to display your Latest Blog Post.
Do you just want to add an item in you menu called “Blog” and link it back to your Front Page?
Your Front Page is the page you see when you go to rgphotographic.wordpress.com
Or
Do You want a specific page called “Blog” to display you posts?
If so, Do you want your Blog to be your Front Page or do you want another page to be your Front Page and then you have to click “Blog” to see your post.I would like to help you with this! I just need to know how you want it setup.
Cheers!

Hi, thanks for you reply and hope all below explains clearly.
Do You want a specific page called “Blog” to display you posts?
Yes.Do you want your Blog to be your Front Page?
No.… do you want another page to be your Front Page and then you have to click “Blog” to see your post.
Yes.I would like a static front page that everyone sees at first, then this page to have a menu link for my blog. I do not want my blog to be the first page everyone sees when they go to my site. I just want it to be accessible like “about” or “home” are. Little more help please. Thank you again.

Hi @miqspiqs,
In that case, please create a new page of “Blog”, and go to https://wordpress.com/customize/. In Static Front Page section of customizer, you can set “Blog” page as “Posts page“, then users can see your blog posts when they click on “Blog” in your menu.
And also, although I’m not sure which page you want to set as Front Page, please set it too in Static Front Page section of customizer.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks :) -
Somethings gone wrong! I set my Home page as static front page but now my Blog page has disappeared and also cannot see any menu for About, Contact or even Posts Page on the home page. At least before making this change I had all my pages in view to select but now none. The only way I can view these pages is by clicking “pages” in the dashboard and selecting each item manually. Can I revert to as before the change?
When you say “create a new page of “Blog”, how do you mean?
Is there any merit in deleting the whole site and starting from scratch? I appear to be in a mess!

I now see that I had “default menu” selected in the “menus” section of dashboard so that when I changed this to “main menu” I get my menu links back onto my home page. But still no “blog” or “new posts” page. Please help!

I think I have sorted it! Phew! All I need to do now is restore my image posts if I can.

When you say “create a new page of “Blog”, how do you mean?
→If you want to put “Blog” in your menu, you need to create a new page and name the page “Blog”. In order to create pages, please go to https://wordpress.com/page/.(Instruction : https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/).
And also, you need to set that “Blog” page as “Posts page”, then “Blog” page will display latest posts from your blog.
