Where's my dashboard?

    I read in help files and in books to refer to the “dashboard”. As illustrated it is shown in grey but when I search admin to get it, all I get is the blue band and with “my site” and “reader” in blue and black not what I see in books. When I try to set up a new blog I get a side menu on left but not THE dashboard. Has it been changed and am I seeing the new dashboard interface? Very confused!

    Hello @miqspiqs,

    Have you attempted to access the WP Admin dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin)?
