Where’s my page?

Hi, I’m brand new, but can’t seem to figure this out myself or find any support material about it.

I created a page devoted to a magazine I have written for. Then I created another page with an article I had written for them, and made the first page its “parent.” What I have in mind is for readers to see the first page on the home page of the blog, then for that page to have links to the page with the article on it (and then to add other pages with other articles).

Problem is, I can’t find out how to make that work. In fact, it appears that the second page is invisible! It’s there in the Edit Pages section of the Admin area, but is nowhere to be found on the site readers see. Is there a trick, or have I missed the obvious?

    Help is much appreciated!!

Best to start by providing a link to your wordpress.com blog starting with http://

Oh, sorry. http://www.boatsandwaterfront.wordpress.com. The Parent page is “Messing About In Boats.”
    Thanks.

    1. The code for a link is this, if you want it to open in a new browser window:
    <a href="URL_HERE" target="_blank">TITLE_HERE</a>
Or this, if you don’t want that option:
    <a href="URL_HERE">TITLE_HERE</a>
In the html editor, of course.

In the visual editor you write the title, highlight it, click the Link button and paste the URL there. Or drag&drop the page title from the actual blog page.

    2. Note that in some themes a parent page will automatically display the list of its subpages.

    3. The header only displays parent pages. If you want your child pages to display (in the sidebar), you must add the Pages widget.
