Where’s my profile?
-
I use the template chaotic soul, and I can’t see where my profile is…Can readers see it? It does not appear to be an available widget either…Help please!

-> Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile
This will show you where your wordpress profile is and “no” it is not for public viewing and it cannot be seen by your readers. Some themes allow for a short profile blurb which is posted in the sidebar and some don’t. Most people create an “About” page. Others create a text widget with profile information and place it in their sidebar.
If you choose to go with pages this thread has links to some examples http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=5628&replies=2
This link will lead you to theme reviews in case you want to choose one that provides the feature of a small profile blurb in the sidebar http://engtech.wordpress.com/tools/wordpress/wordpress-theme-reviews/ -
your user profile is right here:
http://wordpress.com/profile/faola/anything you put in the dashboard page that timethief mentioned will show up there. (after you click the gargantuan ‘edit’ button, and update that information).
mine looks like this:

I just typed in the URL to my own profile and could see my API key number presumably because I’m logged in. What can you see? http://wordpress.com/profile/timethief -
i see:
User Profile: Timethief
No personal details to display for this user.
the API key only shows up when you’re logged in.

np. i find the existence of these profile pages before they’ve been announced/integrated terribly disturbing. the original iteration showed off all of your blogs (much like the first iteration of the friend surfer), and prompted me to detach certain blogs from my profile (again).
live beta testing is fine, as long as people know what they’re in for. i found out about this feature via the blog stats from a blog that should have a very short list of referrers.
