Where's My Text Color Capabilty?

  I’ve used the Twenty Ten theme before and was always able to change text color. I purchased a domain name and suddenly that capability is gone. I understand WordPress would like me to upgrade now, but I won’t do that until my blog is at least set and going. That’s not possible unless I can get that text color capability back. Of course, I can wait until my 90 days are up and move on to GoDaddy, but I really wanted to get it going here. Why did my text color capability disappear?

  If you are referring only to the text inside of your posts and pages you can make some changes without an upgrade.
