Whether to renew domain name.

  Hello,
  My domain name ‘whenchurchyardsyawn.com’ is up for renewal in few days and I’m not sure whether to renew it.
  If I do not pay to renew it will my blog automatically revert to ‘whenchurchyardsyawn.wordpress.com’?
  If I let it revert will this cause any problems?
  Any help appreciated.

  Yes it will mean that every link to your content under the domain URL in search engine page results and everywhere they appear on the internet will produce a 404 page not found when clicked.

  Unfortunately purchasing a site redirect upgrade does not result in all of the URLs we have linked to within our posts to earlier posts we published and to related posts displayed does not result in a fix for this. If it did I would surely pay for one but that is not on offer and IMNHO it ought to be.
