Which Audio Tag Should I Use?

    As you know, Flash is going away or, at least becoming unsupported on many browsers and platforms because of security issues. As a blind pastor, podcaster and blog writer, I am delightful to see this happen; as, Flash has posed some of the gravest accessibility concerns for the disability community. I have been using the standard short-tag for linking to my audio. For example:
    [audio http://www.examplepodcast.mp3%5D
    But, what about the html ‘<audio controls> </audio>
    tag. When I try to implement it, the site doesn’t take the code correctly, or even strips it all out. So, in short, what should I do? Which should I use? Keep doing what I am doing? or, what shall we expect the position or standard of “WordPress.com” to be?
