which domain host to use?

    I have an online radio station that I need to promote more. The website is currently hosted and I was just thinking about adding a blog to tell stories and tie-in with the station. I never considered domain transfer but was presented with this option. Wondering why I should… Also, I thought this was free and it seems they want me to pay an annual fee.

    Hi there,

    You can certainly add a blog to your website without moving your domain or your current site here on WordPress.com. You can host the blog with us and map it to a subdomain of your site (e.g. blog.mind4metal.com). You can read more here:

    WordPress.com has indeed a Free plan, but that plan only allows you to host your blog on a .wordpress.com or .blog subdomain address. To link it with a custom domain you’ll need to get one of our paid plans.
