Which event plugin to suggest?

    We have been working previously with Eventbrite, but we need to find a different solution for our website. The new solution should include the possibility to have multi-languages, multi-currencies, but only 1 bank account connected to it. We made already some research by ourself, but we want to be sure that we are going to have a very good solution on our end provided.

    The events will be sold online for in person events and should be possible to have it linked with Stripe, Paypal. As we don’t have WooCommerce we would love to have a solution, whereas we don’t need to install the whole WooCommerce backend.

    Hi there!

    It sounds like you need specific features for your site that aren’t available in our built-in plugins. Since you’d need to use a third-party plugin anyway, I recommend searching for ‘event plugins for WordPress’ on Google and exploring the blog posts and forum threads in the results.

    You may also consider checking out the plugins that show up for “Events” on the plugin search page. There are quite a few. Click on the name to see the descriptions, which will tell you more about the features they offer.

    Some plugins may have paid versions that include advanced features. But all of them can be installed at no extra cost on your WordPress.com site with the Creator plan to give them a go.

    Thank you so much for your reply! We have been checking out already via Google and the Plugin search page for “Events”, but we thought there might be someone in the forum, who has already great experience with that topic and could give us a great suggestion, which third-party plugin would be the best to use.

    Is there any place we could raise this question? Would be amazing to get some insights from other WordPress users.

    You posted in the right place! You can also ask in the WordPress.org Forums, as lots of users there like to discuss plugins. I have personally used The Events Calendar in the past with good results. Note that we are not able to provide support for third-party services.
