  Security, as well as identity verification of admin, is a major concern while developing a website. I want to ask that which one is safer among wordpress.com and wordpress.org?

  Both are safe. The difference is at wordpress.com we take care of security as for a site using the open source wordpress.org, you must take care of security yourself.
