Which Option Costs Less?

  I purchased a doman with Go Daddy in January but did not create a website with them because of the cost. How much do I pay if I tranfer my domain to WordPress and create my website on WordPress versus getting a new domain from WordPress and creating my website on WordPress.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  That depend on which plan you buy with us. You can see our different plans and how much each costs here:

  To transfer your domain to us you’ll need at least the Personal Plan.

  Transferring your first domain is free as part of the plan, and will also extend your domain registration by another year. So if your domain currently expires in January 2023, after the transfer it will expire in January 2024.

  After that, you’ll pay to renew the domain separately from what you pay to renew your plan. You can see the current renewal costs for the different domains we support below, but keep in mind these prices can change between now and 2024 :)
