Which plan should I purchase?

    Hello, I’m really new to WordPress. I’d like to purchase the X | The Theme by Themeco https://themeforest.net/item/x-the-theme/5871901. Would I need to buy the Premium ($8.25) or Business ($24.92) plan to be able to install this?

    So either of these plans would include a domain and hosting? Therefore I would not need to purchase wordpress hosting through GoDaddy? Are there additional fees for the purchase of the domain and for hosting through WordPress?

    Thanks for getting in touch :)

    On WordPress.com you can choose any theme found in our showcase. We are not able to support imported themes regardless of your plan. Any Premium Theme is a one time charge and does not expire. Premium Themes are a separate charge from WordPress.com Personal or Premium but included in our Business plan.

    You are correct, if using WordPress.com you do not need hosting through GoDaddy. In fact, you can register your domain with us and keep everything in one place. To register a custom domain you will need to upgrade your plan. This fee would need renewed annually to prevent your domain from expiring. There are no add ons or hidden fees.

    In order to use

    X | The Theme by Themeco

    you’d need to create a site using the self hosted version of WordPress. This is different from what happens here at WordPress.com.
