Which plan supports Amazon Affiliates?

Which level of WordPress (i.e. Free, Personal, Premium, Business) supports that use of the Amazon Affiliates app? I’d really love to make a little side money in my product reviews, but I need this app to make it happen. Currently I have the Free plan.

Then I’m confused. What does the term “monetize” mean? Sounds like it means make money. And why would WordPress offer the Amazon affiliate app/widget if the “code won’t work?” I mean the link is right here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-associates-link-builder/
Is that bait and switch or am I just totally missing the point?

That plugin is for WordPress.org.There are two different versions of WordPress. Here at WordPress.com, we can’t upload third- party plugins. Another option is to self- host with a WordPress.org install. Third- party plugins can be installed if you self-host, but you are much more responsible for the technical upkeep of the site.
