Which theme are these websites?
-
HI. I’d like to know which Theme are these following websites.
I really like them but there are so many different themes on the list that I can’t find it:-http://www.mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk/blog/
-http://caughtthelight.com/clients/index.phpI like the:
-archive, posts etc.. on the right
-different sizes photographs on the blog
– 2 small images side by side.
-password protected pageAny idea?
Thanks.
-
http://www.mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk/blog/ use they own costume theme.
The second website use Twenty Ten. -
ok. thank you very much for your answer.
I have 2 other questions.. If I then decide to use the Twenty Ten, would I have the same protected page available? or is it coming from another website and they just created a button to link the page to their website?
– what do you mean by costume theme? It’s written at the bottom that it’s a Word press blog so I’m a bit confused.
Many thanks for your help again.

there is ‘no right click’ script at caughtthelight.com/clients/js/norightclick.js
We can edit the footer, header, and others if we use self-hosting.at http://www.mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk/blog/wp-content/themes/mtp/style.css , you can see;
Theme Name: Marianne Taylor Photography
Theme URI: http://mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk
Description: Custom theme.
Version: 1.0
Author: Marianne Taylor
Author URI: http://www.mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk
Tags: custom
that mean they had costumed the original theme, or may be just delete the original theme’s name. -
@josephinedeclerck
You are in the WordPress.COM support forums and we can only use these themes and no others at all on our free hosted blogs > http://wordpress.com/themes/You are asking about WordPress>ORG themes and that’s not an issue for WordPress>COM at all. WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM are completely separate.

Assuming you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog then we can password protect pages and posts on any theme here.
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs are found here > Appearance > Themes
You cannot build your own theme here. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins or upload any third party themes or software. Those are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/There is no upgrade that you can purchase from WordPress.com that provides FTP access, the ability to install plugins, third party themes and software into free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

@josephinedeclerck
I see you just linked a free hosted WordPress com blog to your username.
These themes you asked about -http://www.mariannetaylorphotography.co.uk/blog/
-http://caughtthelight.com/clients/index.php
cannot be used on this blog http://josephinedeclerckphotography.wordpress.com/ -
Many thanks for your answers.
BUt I don’t understand the difference.
If I want to start a new blog looking like
-Caught the light or mariannetaylor, where should I go?
What should I use?
Word press.org or com??
