Which theme is best for CCS?
-
I see that many people are using different themes – some with more functionality than others . . so the more we customize the less the underlying theme is important.
So is there one theme that allows the best CCS customisation???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@lanason, I do CSS help on so many themes in a day that they all just become a blur to a great extent. What I would suggest is to find a theme that has the functionality you want and then play with it. I would suggest creating a second blog just for testing and keep it marked as private so it doesn’t show up in the search engines. You can then play with the theme and see if you can get the level of customization you want with that theme. You can even export some or all of your content and then import it into that private site so that you can see what it looks like with your content.

thankyou – but I guess when someone starts they don’t know what functionality they need. So the choice is POT LUCK.
I guess you are not in a place to recommend ;-)
I’d love to see a Generic default with all possible options available
I’m a little surprised that there isn’t a GUI to drag, boxes, re-ize, double click for properties etc. -
It is a delicate balance trying to provide features and options for users and keep things easy to navigate and set up. There are themes out there for self-hosted WordPress installations that have ten pages of options to set, and from my experience they are typically quite frustrating to set up.
Increasing features and flexibility without creating frustrating complexity is a big challenge.
