Which theme is best for paintings gallery site

  Can anyone recommend a good free theme for a website on which I can showcase my paintings. My blog uses the Hero theme, which I like and I was thinking of using it, with just pages rather than a blog style. But is there a better one? I like a dark background – shows off the paintings better, and I want to be able to group the paintings by theme, and also have a bio page.Thanks.

  Any blog can be restructured from being post based and highly attractive to search engines to becoming page based and not as attractive to search engines. You may want to read this Create a WordPress Website Step By Step
