which theme support multiple projects on static page

  which theme support multiple projects on static page & bandwidth concerns.

  I have activated rebalance theme because it support portfolio. however upon reading the theme page, I understood that I can configure only one project on front static page. is it correct ?

  I am planning to create at least 4 projects. If rebalance theme doesn’t support multiple projects on front page, which theme support multiple projects ?

  rebalance theme page suggests at least 1200px wide for featured image. I have some serious reservations about loading that much wide & heavy (size in MB) pic.

  I am on slow connection. So I would prefer to load page as quickly as possible.

  does the rebalance theme automatically detect client speed & configures itself to show low resolution featured image ?

  can you please provide links to WordPress blogs which extensively use multiple projects with featured images.

  No. Here is the Portfolio of the Rebalance demo. It presently includes 9 published projects.

  See the Portfolios support page. I’m unaware of a limit to the number of projects which can be created and displayed on any theme. I would think that the storage space would be the only factor to be concerned with in this regard.

  You may try smaller images. I read the 1200 pixels suggestion that you mention in the Rebalance theme guide, but the Quick Specs section at the bottom of the guide gives a different figure:

  Featured images on single posts and single projects break outside of the main column and are 1140px wide.

  I don’t know. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention regarding this and any other questions you might have which I have not answered satisfactorily.

  The Portfolio of the Rebalance demo contains 9 projects, 8 of which have featured images displayed. The Sketch demo displays the portfolio on its front page. It contains 12 projects, each of which has a featured image displayed.

  the theme page clearly states about the sizes at bottom.
