Which WordPress account to go for

  Hi there,

  I am looking to offer my services as a freelance writer and would like to create a simple website to showcase my services, work, testimonials etc.

  I am just starting out as a freelancer and am a little concerned about committing to the premium site because I haven idea if I will be able to make freelancing a long-term, full-time thing.

  My plan was to create a free site and then, in time, when I have more money I was hoping to be able to switch to the premium site if I felt it needed updating, it’s own domain name etc.

  Is switching from a free account to a premium account straight forward and simple? And will switching to a premium account give me the freedom to have a domain that does not include ‘wordpress.com’ at the end of it?

  I’d really appreciate it if someone could respond to me.

  Good luck with your new venture.

  It is very easy to upgrade your free site to a paid plan at any time. Once you are ready to upgrade just click on “My Site” and then “Plan” and you can upgrade from there. Each of our paid plans include a custom domain (does not include ‘wordpress.com’ at the end of it).
