  While editing my post, an entire paragraph turned red. How do I fix it?

  Hi @tanyajhegg, is there any chance you copied and pasted from Microsoft Word or another program? It seems this formatting was copied over.

  One way to get rid of it is to copy and paste again, but this time paste as text only. We have more details here:

  Microsoft Word

  Note this applies even if you pasted from some other text that was already formatted.
