white background on content column

Right now I have a textured background going on. The content column right now is completely transparent, how do I get a white background on the content column?

Give this a try and you can change the hex color code as you desire. The second part gets the header title down where it is within the container and not cut off on the top.
#container { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; } #header { padding-top:40px; }If you want to move the container (content) area up so it is at the top of the browser window, let me know.

After much thought, I’d like for the container area to continue all the way up to the top of the browser window.

You are welcome. Make sure and look at your blog after the change while logged in and also while logged out to make sure nothing strange happens at the top of it.
