white box behind text in front of background has disappeared

Hi y’all,
I’m such a beginner so I am sorry in advance if I’m wasting anyone’s time! I just don’t even know where to look for this …
I just got my site up today (ugh, imagine my frustration having to ask for help already!). The theme is Adelle, and at my original wordpress.com site (mrsonthemove.wordpress.com) there is a background image, and above it there is a white box for the content to sit on top of so it shows up nicely. But now at my self-hosted site (athomewithazelie.com) the white box is gone, so all of the content appears on the background and it’s terribly hard to read.
Thank you so much in advance. Again.. I’m sorry if this was the wrong place to post, but I couldn’t even figure out what the white box is called to properly google! It seems like something got switched off somewhere along the way. Sigh!

Since this is a self-hosted site, so for your reference in future, this is something that will need to be posted on the WordPress.orgforums, which are https://wordpress.org/support
This will just help us keep issues related to the two sites separated. Feel free to drop me the link here when you’ve made the post on the .org forums and I’ll start working on a solution for you.

Great, I’ll drop a response on there in just a moment. I believe I’ve found a solution to the issue earlier. :)
