White box issue on front page of website
-
I am trying to remove the white box obscuring the image on the homepage but I can’t seem to find any out-the-box method of doing so. Can that box be removed or is there a way to make it totally transparent so users can see the full image behind it? The site in question is: gracevillecollegesite.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s annoying to have that white box over your photo, but I’m sure the designer planned that so that your text would be sure to be visible.
The white box is part of the theme’s default look…but I found a page here where someone describes how to change that…maybe you can try it.
