White Featured Photo on Facebook

    Hi. When I tried sharing my blog post on Facebook, the photo just appears white even though I have a featured image. Please help.

    Correct account: Yes

    I have the same problem, but only since I updated my subscription plan and only for the posts published before the update. For posts published after the update plan, the images appear.

    What update? Customer Service keeps trying to tell me it’s a Facebook problem, but I highly doubt that they’d let one of the main functions of their site (sharing) not work properly.

    Something is happening when WordPress passes the metadata to Facebook and FB says it’s a bad image and doesn’t display it.

    Again, customer service seems to just want to push this off on someone else. I have not found any record of an issue/bug with Facebook on this issue, but reports from WordPress users going back a few months having this problem.
