  i paid for a white label domain name on go daddy however on wordpress it is showing the wordpress name in the website address

  A site on Godaddy uses the open source wordpress.org. A site on GoDaddy is in no way related to a site on the wordpress.com platform as GoDaddy and wordpress.com are 2 completely different hosting platforms.

  Hi @farzanaspiro13 – It sounds like your goal originally was to purchase a domain (from GoDaddy) then build a site using that domain here at WordPress.com. Is that right?

  If so, this is possible. You would at least need to consider purchasing our Personal plan shown here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  With the Personal plan you could build and host your website on WordPress.com servers and use the domain you have already purchased for that site.
