White menu and text on mobile

  • Unknown's avatar

    I found this problem where the menu and texts on mobile are completely white and this causes a big problem for my users who are navigating through my website. However, this occurs at every page including newly created pages onward, except for the home, about and gallery pages.

    I’ve tried adding different css codes that I’ve found on the forums but to no avail. Is there a solution to this? I’m using the free Astra theme if it helps.

  • Hello there,

    Ultimately you would need to contact Astra theme support here for help: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/astra/

    Looking at the site, it looks like this CSS snippet is the cause of the trouble there:

    .main-header-menu .menu-link, .ast-header-custom-item a {
        color: #fffefe;
    }

    Thanks for the reply Aleone! The code helped to change the menu’s texts. However I wish to make the menu’s background black as well to make it consistent throughout the site. Are you able to find the code for that too?

  • Hello there,

    It looks like this CSS is causing that:

    .ast-header-break-point .main-header-menu {
        background-color: #f9f9f9;

    I would need to stress at this point, that I’d consider this code unreliable and you would need to contact Astra support to confirm. :)
