White screen of death

  Hello, my website has been down for two days with the white screen of death. I can’t get in through the admin panel, as that too is not responding. Neither is my back up site. I am not comfortable downloading and FTP app to my computer to try and go in the back way and have no idea what to do to fix this.

  Please advise?

  I’ve seen this occurring due to PHP updates. The prompt on WordPress to update your PHP because it’s out of date. When I update to newest versions, the sites go white. Might be something to check.

  Thank you @jonnystormd I’m not even sure how to get in to reverse that, since I can’t get into my admin panel either. I actually do have FTP access through C-Panel

  The site sarahezrinyoga.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on GoDaddy Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

  You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/sarahezrinyoga.com+dns

  To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and GoDaddy also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here.   First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/.

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these two things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

  2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
