White Screen with Error Message
-
After trying to install a new plugin, my site immediately went to the white screen and has been down for over 2 hours. I cannot get back to my admin page to deactivate the plugin. Not sure how to fix it. Any advice would be great.
Thanks,

Hello hgene780, a plugin can be deactivated using phpMyAdmin, which handles all the databases.
Check out this article that shows different ways to do it.
Also, as I noticed, your website is not hosted on WordPress.com. And this forum is for WordPress.com users only.
So, I’d recommend you visit the WordPress.org forums from the next time.
You may want to read about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here.
Hope this helps and have a great day!

Hello theakshaydhiman, your info was great. I ended up using the FTP site and it worked as instructed. Also thanks for directing me to the right location.
I will look into the differences as well.
Thanks again!
