White Space Beneath Facebook Widget
-
Just added the Facebook “Like” box to my sidebar and there is a lot of white space beneath the widget that only seems to appear when the faces and feed are not selected. Hoping this is something that can be cleared up by the elves.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. In order to assist you, we need the URL of your blog, starting with http:// please. Thanks.

It might seem like a nitpick, but I can’t be the only person who doesn’t like the extra gap beneath the widget, and I’m sure there’s an easy fix to it that the tech folks could take care of in a second…

Ha I didn’t even know WP had a facebook widget. It must be new. But yes that white space is annoying.

Yeah, it’s a great new feature, and I’m really happy they finally got onboard with this widget. You can control the width, not sure why they don’t let you adjust the height as well.

I briefly had the Facebook Like Box on my sidebar. To remove the gap, I inserted directly underneath the Like Box an empty text widget, with no title, and with only this code:
<div style="margin-top:-60px;"></div>
It worked like a charm on my blog, which uses the Vigilance theme, but I don’t know if it will do the same on Enterprise. You may have to adjust the number of pixels. And by the way, this is what staff says about the possibility of adjusting the height ourselves:
