White space on landing, not on individual post

  Hello,

  I want to get rid of the white space between my header and posts on my homepage. When I click on a singular post, the white space isn’t there and it looks perfect. How can I achieve that look on my home page?

  This will do it. It is the container div for the site description/tagline that was holding things open there.
