White text on white background

    Hi! I’m facing an issue with my site as the goodreads widget has white text on a white background. Other people have a similar issue but I’m unsure as to how to fix it.

    Hi there!

    The issue is that the legacy Goodreads widget uses the same CSS styling/colors from your theme’s styling for links in widgets – since your theme’s footer is black, it will use white as the link color:

    .widget a, .site-footer .widget a {
    color: #fff;
}

    As you can see that’s a problem because the widget embed doesn’t allow customization of the background color to compensate.

    In order to change that, you would need to upgrade to a Premium plan or above which would allow you to change that link color to something that would be more compatible with your theme and other widgets you may use.
