WHO AM I, WHERE AM I?

    I’m very confused. I have just paid for a blog site with you, SPATULA, but i think that is now ECLECTICSPATULA, but i have also discovered an old site of mine, that i had completely forgotten about, WHOSTHEGRANDDADDY. How do I sort this out? If only it was simple as you make it out to be. Can I delete the Granddaddy blog and just be known as Eclecticspatula? I’ve never done blogging before so please talk to me in simple terms. Many thanks. Oh, and I see that I have no billing history, so how come my first blog has been accepted? I just don’t get it.

    I’ve just seen that I’m also down as FIRSTWITCH.WORDPRESS.COM. I recognise the firstwitch bit but i don’t remember signing up with it. I know i never used it. Oy-vay!

    Welcome back to WordPress! :) It does appear that you have a lot of sites.

    To touch on this first, and to iron out a lot of the other items so we can best help – can you let us know the URL’s to each of your domains? You can see them at your Sites page.

    Can I delete the Granddaddy blog and just be known as Eclecticspatula?

    Please note:

    Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address

    Due to this make sure you really want to remove it :) If so, be sure that you are on the Granddaddy blog by going to the Sites page. We would not want to remove the wrong site by accident! Empty that site of all the contents by following the instructions on this page then continue on with these steps at this link to complete the deletion.

    That does sound odd. Can you verify the URLs so that we can get a clearer look? It should be able to de-mystify it :)

    This is the site you are currently on, and one you probably created a long time ago. No worries! :) You can change your primary site at this link. The primary site is just the site you want to manage by default when you log in at WordPress.com. If you are not wanting to use that either you can follow the steps in the empty site / delete site links above.

    Please let me know the URL’s to each of your domains so we can answer the first and third questions, and then any other questions you have!
