Who and why subscribed me to my own blog?

I received a notification today that stefan(me) subscribed to my blog above.How could that happen? Has someone stolen my identity? WordPress is even guessing that I am probablz from London GB. Thez must be clairvoyanr! Please explain. Thank you

Without a link to the blog in question we can’t even make much of a guess about what happened other than maybe someone fat fingered the email address or a friend is that knows your email is jerking you around.

I believe many people subscribe to my their blogs so they are aware of whether or not the posts are being received and what the appearance of the emails received is like. II use Feedburner for subscriptions and I am subscribed to my own blogs.

auxclass: the link is http://znaleziska.wordpress.com. I am puzzled rather than worried about that happening, but if it’s a joker I wouldn’t like to be subscribed to my own blog (Ihave three) once a week :-)

timethief: if you subscribe yourself to your own blog there is no problem. But if I am notified by WordPress that stefan has joined me as a new subscriber and gives his/mine email address and gravatar profile link then maybe I am entitled to know how it happened. Just checking if I haven’t suddenly become a split personality writing to myself LOL

I’m wondering if this is a new automatic feature provided by Staff. if so I think it’s cool as it relieves me of having to anything at all to subscribe to my own blogs and witness when posts are being sent out and how they appear. :)
